'Reconnaissance' from Barks: Rein and Raus

One of my goals for this Challenge is to get through my shiny new Blackstone Fortress set. It is a a bit of a struggle as all the figures are hyperdetailed.

Here's two of the characters, the deserter ratling sniper twins Rein and Raus. I painted them like classic 'Eavy Metal/ 95th Rifles, which was fun. Fittingly, they're festooned with food including an apple, loaf of bread, sausages, and a small fridge!

    1. I felt very clever when I thought of it, but then remembered 'Eavy Metal did it first!

  2. Very nice looking, I would have loved some extra pictures though to see the backs and all the stowage they are carrying around. They do look nice in that colour scheme though.

    1. I took one, but the focus was off so I canned it, unfortunately. The chap with the grapnel has a mine and lots of dynamite!

  7. Oh Barks, that's brilliant! I was stumped for a subject to enter in this round but have these lying around, I should have thought of these chaps.

    1. I think the Skullometer identified two: one on each scabbard.
