Okay, I do suppose no-one of you seriously expected me to stay away from this theme round did you? Because if ever a project of mine would lend itself brilliantly for this round it's my 80's Pulp round. So I am proud to present "the Most Dangerous Man in the World"
<drumroll>
It's Cobra Commander!
He is the leader of the nefarious Cobra organisation and here accompanied by two more Fred's. I'll explain about them later on in this post, but they listen to CG-BG01 and CG-BG02.
The Fred's are clones, you must have guessed that already. They are coded with CG because are part of the Crimson Guard, Cobra's Elite unit, commanded by the Crimson Twins. They fulfil the role of Elite strike team on the battlefield and of incognito infiltrators and special agents when needed.
All 3 models are Spectre Miniatures, Cobra Commander is "the Banker" figure (are his arms really too short or is that me?) with a headswop and the two others are the Spectre Body-guards.
These cars are toycars given to me by a British friend who got them from Tesco's. I repainted them in Cobra blue and gave them home-made M.A.R.S. corporation decals.
Pointswise these should amount to another 45 points if I am not mistaken.
Well that's my last theme round done, have fun everybody!
Cheers Sander
Love the headswap!
ReplyDeleteThanks Barks!
DeleteLove this! Great work Sander!
ReplyDeleteCheers Greg, you know I am amazed at how I keep being motivated for this project maybe it's all the different kind of bits and kit I get to paint for it ;-)
DeleteNicely done Sander. Cobra Commander looks good in a suit
ReplyDeleteYup he does doesn't he? And you'll take kind notice I left out all the other CC versions ;-)
DeletePerfect entry and another great addition to your collection Sander.
ReplyDeleteThanks Michael!
ReplyDeleteA very sinister trio. Do the Joes know that he is the Most Dangerous Man in the World?
ReplyDeleteIt's the title of one of the comic-series storylines. But yeah they know ;-)
DeleteBrilliant! I really like the Spectre bodyguards and the not-Range Rovers. So cool.
