'Chracters/Scene from' MartinC: 'The Man Who Would Be King'

The man who would be king is a cracking movie

It's not in French despite the poster

Northstar produce the 3 most iconic figures as a set. I present to you - Billy Fish, Daniel Dravot and Peachy Carnehan.

If you've not seen it then you've missed out.

  2. So awesome Martin. One of my all-time favourite films.

I'm with you Dave, Billy Fish absolutely rocks!

He has one of the best final lines: 'Gurkha foot soldier, not cavalry. Rifleman Majendra Bahadur Gurung wishing you many good lucks! Ayo Gorkhali!' (draws kukri and charges huge mob single-handedly)

    1. Women get to cry their eyes out listening to Adele and eating icecream straight from the tub.

We watch 'The Man Who Would Be King' for the same cathartic effect. I defy any man not to tear up even a bit at that scene.

    2. So true. I must have seen that film over 10 times and have always found it difficult not to sniffle at the end.

  5. Very fine work - those figures alone are almost enough to get me into colonial gaming.
I only wish someone would make a figure of Christopher Plummer as Rudyard Kipling, the fourth great actor in that film.
