'Fellowship' from ScottM: Genestealer Cult

For the last bonus round of this year's challenge I went with a group of Genestealer Cultists. Not your happy-cheery fellowship types but more of a creepy twisted variety. These figures are obviously from Games Workshop and are plastic. I don't play 40K but I plan on using these for Space Hulk.

So that should be 7 28mm figs for 35 points.

'Mercenary' from ScottM: Greek Mercenary Hoplites

For my submission for the 'Mercenary' bonus round, I went with a single unit of Greek Hoplites. These 28mm plastic figs are from the Victrix Mercenary Armoured Hoplites box set. I've got them based up for Impetus.

That should be 8 figs at 5 points a piece = 40 points.

'Reconnaissance' from ScottM: Imperial Scout Troopers

For my first bonus round submission I went with a box of the Imperial Scout Troopers for Star Wars Legion. The figures are not really 28mm, I think they're actually 32mm. Regardless, they are really nice figs with good animation.

I was looking forward to having painted Imperials but was leery of painting the actual white and black and doing it in a timely fashion. But with the miracle of Youtube, I found a few videos that people had done up of them and the ridiculously easy techniques they used, and voila!

So 7 figs at 5 points a piece should be 35 points.

'Monstrous' from ScottM: Hail Hydra!

My contribution to the last theme of this year's paint challenge is a 28mm monstrous hydra. This all metal figure is from Reaper Miniatures.

'Music/Musician' from ScottM: Samurai Daimyo & Drummers

My contribution to the latest them, Musician, is a command base for my Samurai army. The base is comprised of the Daimyo and a drummer crew. Figures are from Kingsford Miniatures.

'BFG' from ScottM: Dropfleet PHR Heracles Battleship

My contribution for the 'BFG' them is along the same lines as my 'Flight' submission. The figure this time is the massive PHR Heracles Battleship, the only ship in the PHR fleet (so far) to mount the enormous Dark Matter Cannon. This large resin figure is about 17.5 cm long and is packed with detail.

Not sure what the point value for this would be...

'Flight' from ScottM: Dropfleet PHR Flotilla

So for my submission for the 'Flight' theme, I've got a flotilla of Dropfleet PHR ships. First up is a pair of Medea Strike Carriers.

Next is a Pandora frigate (left) and a Europa frigate (right).

Next is a Theseus light cruiser.

Next up is a Ganymede assault troopship.

And finally here is a Achilles heavy cruiser.

Full flotilla, front and back.

Not sure what the points are for these!

'West' from ScottM: French Citroen Kegresse P19 Portee

My contribution for the 'West' round is from the Western Front of World War 2. This figure is a French Citroen Kegresse P19 25mm Portee. This resin figure is from Mad Bob Miniatures French 28mm vehicle Kickstarter they ran last year.

I went with a simple drab green paint scheme on the vehicle itself with a bit of my standard French camo pattern on the gun itself. Overall simple and easy to paint. I hope to have some more vehicles out for my contribution in the coming week.
