'East' from MartinC: Manchuria 1935

For this submission I present a duel from the Japanese invasion of China in the 1930s. As he wanders through the ruined city the Japanese invader stumbles across a Chinese soldiers armed with only a sword. Can the Japanese soldier fire before bits of him are removed?

The figures are from a Copplestone, both are actually Chinese figures but the uniform is pretty indistinguishable so I painted him up as Japanese and the photography is as usual shocking.

  6. Nice little vignette, Martin! I really like the swordsman, but the uniform turned out really well on your rifleman.
I'm certain they will be quick friends in a pulp adventure game! ;)

  7. Great little vignette, Martin. It looks like an unequal duel.... but that katana looks razor-sharp, and there's always a chance, given the weather, that even a bolt action rifle might stick or misfire. Super work, Sir!
