The
figures are from a Copplestone, both are actually Chinese figures but
the uniform is pretty indistinguishable so I painted him up as Japanese
and the photography is as usual shocking.

'East' from MartinC: Manchuria 1935
For this submission I present a duel from the Japanese invasion of
China in the 1930s. As he wanders through the ruined city the Japanese
invader stumbles across a Chinese soldiers armed with only a sword. Can
the Japanese soldier fire before bits of him are removed?

ReplyDeleteNice little vignette, Martin! I really like the swordsman, but the uniform turned out really well on your rifleman.

ReplyDeleteNice work Martin!
ReplyDeleteGreat little vignette, Martin. It looks like an unequal duel.... but that katana looks razor-sharp, and there's always a chance, given the weather, that even a bolt action rifle might stick or misfire. Super work, Sir!
ReplyDeleteSuper idea and work for this theme.
