This temporary home for a 28mm German 10.5cm Le.FH 18 Auf39-h of the
21sr Panzer Division is made up of the ruined hamlet terrain set from
Warlord Games.
I
painted the house as an old abandoned farmhouse , complete with the
beginnings of an apple orchard (railway trees already made up) and used
flock to represent overgrowth beginning to take over the ruins.
The
10.5cm SPG is a resin model made by a chap called Mad Bob, who did a
converted French vehicle Kickstarter last year. This was another of
Beckers conversions for the 21st Panzer Div in Normandy , based on the
French R35 chassis. The great thing about this kit is that it comes with
a 75mm ATG as well so you can clip in and out whichever variant you
need. The only downside is the lack of interior detail compared to the
Warlord model I did last week but it is certainly fine for gaming and
thanks to Mad Bob it's actually available.
Clever idea James.
