Here he is shown before his greatest victory, wearing the broken Narsil before the Evil Lord Sauron.
I chose some dark red to his clothes, a bit similar as Boromir.
This
is naturally a GW miniature from the set which includes dead Elendil
and Sauron with Isildur. I only have Isildur and Sauron, but wihtout
hands.
Here he is, looking up. I'm very happy with the face.
I put him on a 32mm base to give him some room and underline his loneliness.
Another excellent interpretation of the theme - well done, Teemu!
ReplyDeleteThanks Evan, Numenor was my first idea of West.
DeleteWasn't he the last King of the West as well? In which case it is an even more fitting entry!
ReplyDeleteYes, last king to rule Gondor and Arnor before Aragorn.
DeleteNice work Teemu :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteThis is very nice, a great sculpt and a wonderful scene from the film. Well done Teemu!
ReplyDeleteThank you, this round was a good excuse to paint this non-play mini. :)
DeleteGreat idea. nice work. cheers
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I've wanted to do a scenic base around these figures for a while.
ReplyDeleteThen just go fog it! :)
DeleteLovely work! Well done on nailing the eyes gazing up at the foe above him, my guys always end up looking cross-eyed!
ReplyDeleteThat's usual, but practice and luck helps. ;)
DeleteWonderful work Teemu. You really nailed-it with painting his face. Loveley stuff.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
