Curt delivers us another difficult Bonus round. Epic Fail.
I've chosen 2 sets of surgeon figures for my entry. Yet again they are for my Donnybrook shenanigans set in Tangiers and Europe.
The
larger set comes from Redout Minatures, while the smaller set is from
Warlord Games, they are both from their respective ECW ranges.Which are
really a tad too early for my Donnybrook madness but nobody makes them for my period, so they'll have to do!
The death and destruction and utter pointlessness of war has got to be the most Epic Fail??
Nicely done Ray... And of course totally agree
ReplyDeleteThat epic fail unlike you is very fecking thin!!!!
ReplyDelete"I promise I wont feel this at all!"
ReplyDelete"The good news, Flee-Fornication, is that we took the leg off in record time, with minimal infection. The bad news is that we took the good leg."
ReplyDeleteLovely bit of work, Ray!
nice painting Ray :)
ReplyDeleteNice but needs lots more blood
ReplyDeleteNice but needs lots more blood
ReplyDeleteExcellent, Ray. Life-saving operations in an open field, using the unsterlized contents of an DIY toolbox. I mean, what could go wrong? Yikes....epic fail indeed!
ReplyDeleteLove it Ray. Quality health care, quite the history for sure!
ReplyDeleteI think I'd pass on the field station and take my chances back in the battle line! ;)
ReplyDeleteNice work, Ray!
Great little vignettes and I'd say surgery could be pretty hit and miss in this era.
ReplyDeleteNice mate nice.
ReplyDeleteGreat job Ray and a poignant reminder of the cost of war.
ReplyDeleteYou're so right Ray. We go to war, for some "noble" cause, forgetting the cost to the men in the field. This is a poignant piece and well done!
ReplyDeleteGreat choice and great painting Ray!
ReplyDeleteFantastic job!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments ladies and gentlemen.
ReplyDeleteGreat work Ray.
