One of my aims for this year is to build up a small Old West project.
With the kind present of some Black Scorpion models in the Secret Santa
this year, the project had it's starting point, but the subject of one
of the side-challenges this year gave me an interesting idea...
What could be more of an epic fail than a western gunfight with no survivors?
These
six are all from Great Escape Games. The figures themselves are resin
casualty markers for their Dead Man's Hand range. If I'd seen these in
person before buying them I probably wouldn't have picked them up as
they were full of bubbles, flash and casting lines. Some of them were
pretty hollow underneath and the hands... oh my god. The hands are like
thick slabs of steak rather than hands. One was so bad I just cut it
off, so one of the crooks is left handed and only has one hand.
So as you can see... epic fail on two counts. One in the theme and one in the models themselves.
You have done a great job on them. I need to pick up a set ....
ReplyDeleteGood choice and you've recovered them well
ReplyDeleteNice work Paul!
ReplyDeleteVery inspiring! Despite the casting quality you make me want to pick up a set!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the last scene of Hamlet in here - or a recent Tarantino flick...

Or the wedding in Game of Thrones
