'Nostalgia' from ChrisH - Barrow Wight & Slave to Paint

Barrow Wight

I started gaming with miniatures 30+ years ago mainly fantasy roleplaying games and WWII Airfix, and like all of us have too much sitting in boxes awaiting a lick of paint. Well these two are from Mithril Miniatures and are around 25 years old. Date stamps on the bottom are 1990.

The first is a Barrow Wight and the second a Slave Girl. With a modest total of only 500 points I thought it was more appropriate that “Slave to Paint” as I will call her might be remembered wistfully by some of the older participants with larger totals for the challenge.

  3. Very nice and so usable in many games. She is a very nice figure.
But I never imagined wights to be blue, but then I grey up with a black and white TV. I do like the blue though and may use it in the future as well.

  7. Nice! Is it just me or does slave to paint's face look like Daryl Hannah in Blade Runner. We just watched the film last week.

  8. Thanks for all the positive comments, these older minis often have a lot of character to them and don't always portray women as the busty bar wench of adolescent desires.
